the design & construction process can be confusing, non-linear and opaque. We try to de-mystify this process by clearly mapping the critical path schedule and when key decisions need to be made.

want to work with us?

It all starts with a meet and greet to discuss project ambitions. Who to work with is a big decision, and we believe it’s important that we’re all on the same page. We like to engage with projects as early in the conceptual process as possible so it’s never too early in your process to give us a call.

We see establishing a design brief as a collaborative act. Our goal from this meeting is to understand your project scope, ambitions and timeline. This will help us establish a Strategic Definition for your project and inform our proposal, which will be customer tailored to your goals.

  1. Understand your business Case

  2. Establish Project Scope Goals

    1. Review program, schedule, public, outline potential strategic partnerships.

  3. Proposal and Work Plan

From Concept through Construction

We’re a practice that believe in engaging in projects from start to finish, and we don’t know how to work any other way! We believe the design process continues on from the minute we meet, until user handoff. The decisions made on site affect the end product as much as the early ones.

A big part of our process is to provide quality assurance to our clients, and that can’t happen if we don’t remain involved. Working with us means that we’re engaged through all phases of design. Below is a breakdown of our project phases and deliverables. Part of our proposal is a thorough breakdown of what each phase holds, and the critical decisions that need to be made, and collaborators that need to be engaged, making sure you’re along in process!

  1. Pre-design

    1. Refine design brief, establish project schedule and budget.

    2. Site analysis and data gathering

    3. zoning analysis

  2. Schematic Design

Their attention to detail and commitment to quality truly stood out. We’ve already recommended them to others.
